Life on the ROAD!

Us getting off the Stanton Island ferry (our free way to see the Statue of Liberty and with no line!)

By the Brooklyn Bridge, we walked over it too.
Our good ol Statue of Liberty on 4th of July

The View out of our hotel window right on Times Square!

Saying goodbye to our Moms, our backpacks for the next 6 1/2 months.

Our first piece of New York Pizza

The trip thus far has been pretty cool. New York was soo awesome. It is a city that is truely alive with people. There are so many thing to do and see. Every time you turn the next corner there is something suprising, most the time in a good way. The first day we probably walked 10 miles. We saw the Statue of Liberty on the forth of july, the Brooklyn Bridge, went to ground zero, we watch Time Square wake up and go to sleep, had one of the best burgers in the world "SHAKE SHACK" (thank you john and emily), walked by the empire state building, ran in centeral park, and got stuck on the east side with a couple million people watching fireworks. All in All we got broadcasted around the world on Good Morning America, went to "Stomp" on broadway, Kelly indulged herself at the Peanut Butter Company and both went to an ALL chocolate restaurant, Went to a comedy club, and ate NYC pizza (which had a differing effect on Kelly). Kelly and I both look back on NYC as a great experience.

p.s we also got to sleep in the last king bed for the next 7 months...
